Winston goes the extra mile

Winston and his driver, Ben, offer a professional, friendly and reliable service to ensure you get hitched without a hitch in this unique vintage wedding vehicle.

Winston only books one wedding a day, so you’ll have his full and undivided attention. And not only does he transport you to your wedding ceremony venue and then onto your reception in vintage style – because he loves having his photograph taken, he’ll hang around for an hour at the reception for you and your guests to get some pictures taken with him.

Winston can seat 4 lucky people: one in the front and three in the back, all with seatbelts. It’s not possible to take any children under three, or fit a child seat. Sorry about that.

If your wedding ceremony and reception are at the same location, Winston is more than happy to take you for a drive out after the nuptials so you can spend some time together, catch your breath and enjoy a glass of fizz before heading back to the celebrations and your new in-laws.

Your driver, Ben, will be smartly dressed in his best bib and tucker and will not rush you on your special day.

Our standard package costs £330 and includes the following:

Any special requests (almost anything goes) can usually be accommodated, but there may be an extra charge for this. Please contact Ben for a quote.

Terms & Conditions

1. When you book, Weddings with Winston asks for 50% of the total booking value to be paid. The balance needs to be paid in full 6 weeks prior to your wedding day. Deposit is non-refundble.

2. By paying the deposit you are accepting that you have read and agree to the terms and conditions.

3. An online receipt will be issued to your email address once payment is received.

4. You can pay in cash or via online banking. A receipt will be issued for cash payments. We do not send invoices in the post, as booking confirmation is done via email.

5. If Winston is unable to attend your wedding due to a mechanical problem, we will do our best to find you an alternative vehicle. If this is not possible, a full refund will be given. This doesn’t cover incidents that are beyond our control – a delay due to traffic, or an incident unrelated to Winston, for example. In these instances, no compensation will be paid, so we advise you take out wedding insurance to cover such eventualities.

6. In the event of a cancellation by the hirer, the deposit will not be refunded. If the cancellation is less than six weeks before the agreed hire date, the full cost of a day’s hire will become payable, unless we can rebook your day’s hire.

7. No smoking is allowed in the vehicle.

8. No food or drink is permitted in the vehicle unless previously agreed with Weddings with Winston.

9. The hirer shall be fully responsible and liable for any damage caused both inside and outside the vehicle by themselves or any member of their wedding party. The hirer is also responsible and liable for any incitement to any third party which results in damage to the vehicle or its contents. The hirer will be liable for the total cost of repairs, and Weddings with Winston will have the sole right to decide the location where the repairs will take place. The hirer will also be liable to pay Weddings with Winston a fixed daily rate (determined by the company) while the vehicle is out of commission, plus the cost of any lost bookings or other losses incurred while Winston is unable to work.

10. Weddings with Winston accept no responsibility for the hirer’s personal possessions, or those of any of their party.
